I would imagine guys and girls are equally as good in pool, but I was hoping some elite players might see this question and weigh in. I was wondering why the tournaments are all male or all female, and if they combined them, would one gender win more often than the other?

Actually in comparison best male players to best female players, the male players dominate. That is just how it is. Mostly from the break, male pros have huge breaks.

Then you can turn your role into what it should be: Chief Decision Maker. Your mind should be focused on thinking about paving the future for your company. Making critical decisions includes what to add or take away from the produce or service mix, how industry trends will affect your market and how to take advantage of them. Being able to look at a market opportunity and decide what will generate more revenue for your business, how to supply an underserved niche, cultivate more loyalty and competitive advantage is your job as CEO.

Boldness and decisiveness are rare and thus valuable skills. Many companies fail not by making the wrong decisions but by not making decisions at all. Those who make decisions and move forward are always in the power position compared to those who wait and see. This is the contrast between a victim mentality and a victor mentality. Making a decision in your business inherently includes making a guess or prediction about the future, which no data can predict accurately. If we were able to predict the future 100% accurately using just data from the past, Las Vegas and Wall Street would be very different places. As it is, we are always uncertain about the future, and just relying on facts is often not enough. You must learn to tap into your inner powers. To do this try meditating on a problem or issue that you are trying to solve. Go to a quite place with no distractions and allow yourself to just sit quietly for 30 minutes. Clear your mind of all your worries and concerns and just sit peacefully. You will find that the answer or solution will come into your mind at after about 20-30 minutes of meditation. It will be as if it came from above. The more you do on a regular basis you will become more in tune with your own inner wisdom and will be able to leverage this sixth sense as a powerful advantage in business and in life. If your gut instinct is that you don’t understand a problem or a realm of your business and you need outside help, trust that instinct and ask for help either from within your company or from the outside. You know more that you think you do and this will become apparent after you practice developing your intuition. Remember to use your feelings as well as your head when making decisions.

How to act by setting priorities and delegating:
This skill is really two skills but in order for you to perfect them they should be looked at as a coordinated effort. As a business owner, you’ve got a lot on your plate, and you always will, so learning to prioritize is essential. You will quickly see that you cannot handle everything on your list. So, you have a choice; you can either not do the things on the bottom of your list, or you can find others to do them for you, and that is a lot of what running a business and creating an entity of business value is all about. You must know the value of everything you do and take care of your high value activities first. The activities deemed lower in value are not necessarily activities that are not worth doing, they are just not worth you doing them. If these activities can be performed effectively by someone else and still net out more value for the business in return and they are a strategic fit for your focused strategy of the business, then they should be delegated. To delegate effectively you must learn how to explain for understanding. For higher level activities, you must also be able let go, explaining the current and desired state and then trusting the intellect of the other person(s) to build the bridge that will fill in the middle. The more you learn to let go, the more you will be able to grow your business. If you do not learn to do this, you will put a ceiling on your own results. Sure it is true that your employees might let you down or drop the ball on a task, but the same is true of you if you are trying to do everything for the business. Put time and effort into finding smart, hard-working employees and empower them to do what they do best. The possibility that your employee will make a mistake is the same as the possibility that you will make a mistake. Therefore it will be more lucrative for the business in the long run to allow your employees to do these essential tasks while you focus on running the business.

This will be the 17th edition of the now biennial event which will see 51 of the 52 nations compete separately for the first time to decide the seven other teams to join Sweden at the finals.

European Under 19 Championship â?? The final tournament of the2009 UEFA European Under 19 Football Championship will be held in Ukraine from 21 July to 2 August 2009. This will be another thrilling and exciting event in 2009 in the soccer calendar. The Elite round for this football event has been scheduled to be held from 1 March to 31 May 2009.

UEFA Womenâ??s Cup â?? 2009 UEFA Womenâ??s Cup is one of the major football events to be held in this football calendar year. The final championship will take place from 16 May to 23 May 2009. Semi finals for this football event will start from 28 March and will go on till 5 April 2009.

Womenâ??s Euro â?? The UEFA Womenâ??s Championship or the Womenâ??s Euro is held after every four years, and 2009 will see this event in Finland from 23 August to 10 September 2009. 12 teams will compete in the competition, to decide the winning champions at the final event.

Womenâ??s Under 19 Championship â?? The Second qualifying round for the UEFA Womenâ??s Under-19 Football Championship is scheduled to be held from 23 April to 28 April, with the final tournament being held in Belarus from 13 July to 15 July 2009.

How you talk to yourself will not only have a profound effect on your body physiology, but it will have a profound effect on your outlook on life as well.

What books are you reading to expand your mind? One book that is always on the top of my list is the Holy Bible. Not only is it mind expanding, but spirit expanding. Dr. David Snowdon’s study (Nun Study) hints that children may be less likely to get Alzheimer’s if their parents spend time reading to them and boosts early childhood development.

Jim Trelease sums it up nicely in his book The Read-Aloud Handbook. “The more you read, the better you get at it; the better you get at it, the more you like it; and the more you like it, the more you do it. And the more you read, the more you know; and the more you know, the smarter you grow.” If you only read fifteen minutes a day it is possible to read fifteen books in a year. What if you read for a half an hour a day? What about an hour a day? How much smarter do you think you would be in a year’s time?

What is it that you want to do with your life? What are you passionate about? What get your juices flowing? What would you do even if you didn’t get paid for it? These questions are vital in your quest to be all you can be. Don’t be a wanderer through life pick your path. Once you have chosen your path it could take you to heights you never dreamed.

Who do you know that is successful at what you would like to do? Have you talked to them? Have you thought about buying them a meal, and say picking their brain over lunch? They have to eat.

How is your health? Is your diet promoting good health or destroying your health. There are so many different diets out there, but it comes down to one simple fact if you’re trying to lose weight. Eat less and exercise more.  Some will say I have a gland problem. You do, it is your mouth gland. Miss a few meals. Try fasting it work wonders.

When was the last time you exercised? Get on an exercise regimen. A healthy mind and body go hand in hand. Try walking a mile a few days a week. Later try jogging. Maybe add some weight training. Do something, don’t be a couch potato.

God created man to be great. He gave you unlimited capacity to learn and to grow. You were not created to fail, but to succeed. You have the God given ability to become whatever you can believe. Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe he can achieve.

Be all you can be, should be our life’s battle cry. We must forge ahead throughout our lives going from success to greater success. Once we have scaled one mountain we should be looking for our next mountain to climb. Don’t stay on the side lines of life get into the game. You were born a winner, go out a winner.
